How can I differentiate between call ringtones and text ringtones with a razr? And how can I update my razr?

I have two ringtones that I would like to use. One I would like to use for receiving text messages and one I would like to use for receiving calls. How can I do this? Also, how can I update the firmware for my Motorola razr v3m? Judging by some things I’ve seen online and some menu options I have I do not have the latest firmware.
